THINGS TO DO
Raleigh Rooms and Taylor’s Crafts is located in a quaint fishing village at the tip of the Great Northern Peninsula.
Taylor’s Crafts is a fourth generation carving family originating from Master Carver Abiel Taylor; who learned the art of carving in the 1950’s from his grandfather. Abiel passed this talent to sons John and Clayton who take great pride in the carvings they sculpt. Together, this trio is creating extraordinary pieces of art. Taylor’s Crafts offer a wide selection of unique, one of a kind hand carvings made from serpentine, soapstone, whalebone, moose antler, and caribou antler.
